OBJECTIVES

✓ Conducting complex research in the field of condensed matter physics and deformable solid mechanics.

✓ Mathematical modelling of natural and technological processes and phenomena. 

✓ Study of mechanical and physical processes of a contact interaction of inhomogeneous bodies in the presence of bound fields of different nature. 

✓ Investigations in the field of nonlinear elasticity, mechanics of micropolar media and bodies with surface stresses. 

✓ Development of new semiconductor materials with improved functional properties for efficient photonics, optoelectronics and microwave electronics devices.

 

MAIN RESEARCH OBJECTIVES 

✓ Mathematical and computational problems of mechanics and physics of inhomogeneous media. 

✓ Methods of design of materials with specified physical and mechanical properties.

✓ Development of the intellectual control systems of the adaptive composite constructions for the aviation equipment. 

✓ Methods of diagnostics of the state and structure of structures and composite materials. 

✓ Synthesis of semiconductor solid solutions and creation of heterostructures on their basis for optoelectronic and photonic devices.

 

MAIN RESULTS 

✓ A linearised theory of contact interaction of inhomogeneous piezoactive media has been developed. 

✓ Fundamentals of mechanics of modern materials and nanoscale piezoactive structures are developed. 

✓ Methods of low-frequency diagnostics of the state and structure of structures and composite materials are developed

✓ Methods of mechanics of active smart materials and adaptive structures for aircraft construction are developed. 

✓ Methods of multicriteria optimisation of polymerisation processes of composite aircraft structures are proposed. 

Methods of liquid phase synthesis and pulsed laser sputtering of GaInAsP, GaInAsBi, GaInAsSbBi solid solutions on GaAs, GaSb substrates are developed.
