GOALS

✓    Integrated  studies of socio-economic and socio-political problems and issues of the South of Russia (the Southern Macro-Region and Northern Caucasus Macro-Region) aimed at determining the regularities of regional development, predicting the dynamics of a regional situation, determining the threats and risks in the geostrategic southern direction.

RESEARCH DIRECTIONS

✓     Regional Conflictology and security problems in the southern regions;
✓     Main trends in the development of the state and law under the conditions of globalisation and geopolitical transformation;
✓     Reformation processes in present Russia: socio-cultural and ethno-political aspects;
✓     Development of social technologies of society management; sociology of power and administration and management at the regional and municipal levels;
✓     Regulations of interrelationship of social groups, ethnic groups, and religions in the South of Russia;
✓     Social-demographic processes in the South of Russia;
✓     Analysis and modelling of social-economic processes and systems at the regional level;
✓     Studies of trends and structural shifts in a socio-economic complex of the southern regions under the conditions of external challenges;
✓     Application of information technologies when studying the social processes.
