Dear colleagues! The Sea of   Azov and the Sea of   Azov are a unique complex system. These are densely populated areas with high natural value. In the Azov region there are large seaports (Rostov-on-Don, Taganrog, Berdyansk, Mariupol, Temryuk, Taman and others), airports, federal roads and railways pass through the territory, an agricultural and industrial complex is developed in the region. Over the past few years, the logistics of the region have significantly transformed, the status of the Sea of   Azov has changed: it has become the inland sea of   the Russian Federation.

However, the issues of providing water to the population, restoring fish resources and biological diversity remained unresolved. We invite you to take part in a series of scientific events dedicated to topical issues of scientific and technological development of the South of Russia. The meetings will be held on the basis of the Southern Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences with the support of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Administration of the Rostov Region.

 

MAIN DIRECTIONS AND SECTIONS OF THE CONGRESS

 

1. Socio-economic, political and humanitarian problems of the Sea of   Azov in the new geopolitical realities.

2. climatic cyclicity of arid territories, paleogeography of the Holocene of the Azov and Caspian Seas.

3. biodiversity of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. Bioinvasions.

4. Development of engineering and technical sectors of the economy for the improvement of the natural environment (ecosystem) of the Sea of   Azov and the Sea of   Azov.

Reproduction of fish in the Sea of   Azov (scientific justification for the reproduction and catch of fish, the creation of specialized organizations for the cultivation of fish products, the production of necessary feed).

Sea shallowing (dredging in ports and shipping channels).

Shore abrasion (shore protection works).

Clearing rivers flowing into the Sea of   Azov, including small ones.

The development of a network of hydroposts on the coast to record the state of water bodies and water resources.

Providing the region with water for efficient agricultural production, as well as supplying drinking water to the population.

Assessment of the impact of environmental factors on materials in coastal climate conditions.

5. Section: "Mechanics of natural and man-made processes and phenomena of the Azov basin and the Azov region: problems, threats and risks."

6. Prospects for the development of tourism, port infrastructure, airports, road network, processing enterprises, shipyards, etc.

7. Development of a comprehensive interdepartmental program for the improvement and development of the Sea of   Azov and the Sea of   Azov for a ten-year period.

8. Section: "330 years of the Russian fleet. Don Cossacks and military cathedrals in the service of the Fatherland."

9. Scientific equipment for studying geosystems.

Pictures - black and white in Grayscale mode with a resolution of 300 dpi, with the extension tif or jpeg. All drawings are placed in the text of the article (they must be numbered and signed), and also sent additionally as separate files.

Only the formulas and equations referred to in the following statement should be numbered.

Tables should be placed in the text of the article, they should have a numbered title and clearly marked columns, convenient and understandable for reading. These tables should correspond to the numbers in the text, but should not duplicate the information provided in it.

Place table labels above them (without a period at the end of the label).

References to tables in the text are required.

The bibliographic list is placed after the main text of the article and is issued in compliance with GOST R 7.0.5-2008. A bibliographic description of borrowed sources, as well as cited literature, is given by a general list at the end of the article alphabetically (first in Cyrillic, then in Latin).

In-text references to articles should be presented in square brackets.

For example: [Petrov, 2024; Ivanov, Petrov, 2025].

If two or more works of the same author date from one year, then they are ordered alphabetically by the name of the works, and in addition to the year of work, the letter of the Russian alphabet is indicated. If the number of authors in the work is more than 2, only the first surname is given, indicating "etc."

The bibliography should contain the works mentioned in the text, arranged in alphabetical order. References in the text of the article are submitted to all sources indicated in the List of Literature, to research sources (scientific articles, monographs, etc.), including foreign ones.

DATE OF ACCEPTANCE OF MATERIALS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONGRESS

Materials must be sent by April 28, 2026 (inclusive) to the address of the go.conf.rnd@ya.ru with the attached file in Word Document (* .docx) or Word Document 97-2003 (* .doc) format. Materials sent after the specified date will not be placed in the collection of works of this event.

Please repeat the submission of materials, if the Organizing Committee has not confirmed their receipt within 3 working days. When communicating with the Organizing Committee, use the "reply to letter" function (to save the history of correspondence).

 

ATTENTION OF PARTICIPANTS

1. There is no organizational contribution to participate in the event.

2. The final version of the Scientific Event Program will be formed after the end of the acceptance of the speakers' materials.

3. All materials are published in the author's edition.

4. The uniqueness of the text of materials should be at least 70%.

5. Working language - Russian, English.

6. The organizing committee has the right to reject an application for participation in a scientific event if:

    a) the topic of the report does not correspond to the scientific direction indicated on the official website of the scientific event;

    b) preparation of the report does not meet the established requirements;

    c) two or more members of the program committee gave a negative review of the materials of the report;

  d) an application for participation in a scientific event has been submitted or the materials of the report have been sent after the expiration of the established period of their admission.

7. By the beginning of the scientific event, a collection of works will be published, followed by placement in the RSCI.
